About

Dr. Abramsohn serves as the Executive Director of the Infectious Disease Prevention Network (IDPN). IDPN is working to build enduring advocacy capacity at the state level to support the diverse pro-vaccine community and protect families and communities.

Erin brings 20 years of experience in public service to IDPN, including 15 years with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her work has focused on the intersection between public health policy and healthcare. During her time with CDC, she led numerous policy and partnership initiatives across the federal government related to immunization, healthcare, healthcare payment and service delivery, vaccine policy, and emergency response. She served as a subject matter expert on Medicare and Medicaid policy, federal and state health policy and strategy, and strategic relationships with private partners.

Erin is excited to bring her years of experience in public health policy, partnerships, and collaboration to IDPN. Her priorities for IDPN include protecting access to vaccines and building a strong nationwide pro-vaccine infrastructure.

Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Public Health, both from the University of Iowa, and a Doctorate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina's Executive Doctoral Program in Health Leadership.
